Easter in the Alps

With clear azure skies & frosty mornings Easter is a great time to take a walk in the high country. Snowy Mountains Backcountry is now running guided walks on the Main Range offering a broad range of walking choices including on & off trail.

Walk the nations highest peaks & glacial lakes, the source of the iconic Snowy River. The Main Range alpine region is the highest part of the Great Dividing Range affording unsurpassed vistas, it is a unique region home to Australia's true alpine terrain. This area has a rich & diverse natural & cultural history that we'll share with you throughout the journey. Trips with SMBC are as much about learning as they are about an outdoor experience. We'll pass on knowledge that will increase your skill level teaching you tips & tricks along the way. If you would like to develop or increase your Bush Walking Skills we can workshop a session to suit your group.

The Main Range alpine zone is an ancient area with a rich mantle of alpine humus supporting a world class flora show. Talk to us about booking an interpretive Wild Flower Walk!
