These tours are lead by SMBC splitboarding guides, we're happy to mix Alpine Touring & Splitboarders but we are also offering splitboard only groups. We offer a variety of tours from Introductory to advanced, arduous Splitboard Mountaineering Tours. Book a tour for yourself, your own group up to 5 or join a group. Learn fundamental skills & gain knowledge on how to move safely & efficiently in the backcountry.

The learning will start in the comfort of our guiding headquarters at SMBC in the Guthega Mountain Centre rather than in the car park. We'll carry out an equipment shakedown, safety briefing & discuss the route at our map table. Our tours are based on smaller groups so that we can stylise the learning & focus on skills development.
