Well Alpinists, Shralpinists & Backcountry Enthusiasts the current touring conditions are very good up high & the approaches have been a bit void of snow down low until now! A top up over the last couple of days has seen approaches again snow covered & excellent riding on wind blown velvet. The recent snow delivered with high winds has filled in nicely & when temps warm, where it has fallen on old snow it will set up a lot quicker than usual because it was delivered with wind & has packed in!
